About Me

Dominic Upton

A Registered Homeopath with over 30 years’ experience in the field of holistic and complementary health care, I run a successful full-time practice in comfortable and well-appointed rooms situated in Haslemere, Surrey.

I help to run a regular, free Homeopathy drop-in clinic in Haslemere and introductory homeopathy courses for the local community. I take great pleasure in organizing a number of regular networking groups, webinars and seminars for professional Homeopaths and students.

I am President of the Laurence Society of Holistic Medicine: a registered charity which investigates the causative factors behind acute, chronic and persistent complaints and am fascinated by the possibilities these investigations offer.

Throughout my career, my aim has been to foster awareness about Homeopathy as a viable, affordable and effective therapeutic method for the restoration and maintenance of good health, regardless of age or background.

Consultations

In Person and Online

In homeopathy the therapeutic relationship between client and homeopath is very important. Consultations enable the patient and practitioner to engage fully in the “whole person” approach to treatment. Patients appreciate being listened to and treated as individuals; an aspect to effective treatment routinely cited as being a most valuable part of the healing process. Remedies are prescribed based on the specific way you experience ill health and disharmony, and the unique way in which you experiences your life.

Homeopathic remedies are easy and pleasant to take, and can be used by adults and children of all ages. They can also be used alongside conventional medicine.

Initial Consultation

Up to 90 minutes

The initial consultation is an opportunity for you to discuss everything you feel has led directly, and indirectly, to your current situation. I wish to learn as much about you as possible to create a detailed symptom picture, corresponding to your essential nature. My aim is to find the cause of the disruption in your health, and then identify the remedies required to bring a gentle restoration to normality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Anchor 3/FAQ

What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a natural complementary medicine that supports the body’s own healing response. Practised worldwide for over 200 years and recognised by the WHO as one of the largest systems of medicine, it treats each person as unique. Rather than suppressing symptoms, homeopathy aims to stimulate the body’s innate healing mechanisms. It can be helpful for seasonal ailments, short-term acute conditions, and longer-term physical, emotional, or mental health concerns.

What should I expect and how much will it cost?

After a detailed consultation exploring your physical, mental, and emotional health, you’ll receive a personalised treatment plan aimed at restoring balance and resilience. Effective treatment not only reduces symptoms but also strengthens your overall ability to handle everyday challenges.

Your plan will include remedies - usually small tablets, powders, or drops that dissolve in the mouth and are easy to take. Remedies are not included in the consultation fee, but can be affordably purchased from Ainsworths or Helios homeopathic pharmacies. They are suitable for all ages.

Where are you and how do I make an appointment?

Consultations are held by appointment either online or at the Haslemere Complementary Therapy Centre in Surrey. The centre is situated upstairs above Apothecary 27.  It is within easy reach of Haslemere train station and free car parking is available on street and in the general area.

Call, click the button below, or use the contact form to get in touch. I do my best to respond to all messages and emails within 2 days.

Clinic Address: 71a Weyhill, Haslemere, Surrey, GU27 1HN.

Client Stories

Having not received a homeopathic treatment before, I wasn’t fully aware of what to expect. After a few minutes of sitting down with Dominic for our initial consultation, I was made to feel at complete ease. What followed was a comprehensive overview of what we were going to achieve and how we would go about it. During and after the treatment, Dominic was always at hand to discuss and advise.  The treatment itself was very successful and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending. ~ I.C

Supervision, Meetings and Events

For professional homeopathy to thrive, connection, continued learning and communication are key within the homeopathic community, and so I am active within professional networking, and chair a number of organisations in the field of professional homeopathy. Details of live and online seminars, meetings and groups for Health Professionals and Students can be found below.

As chair of West Surrey & West Sussex Homeopathic Group, (WSWSHG), for registered practitioners and students of homeopathy I am delighted to have seen membership grow. The group is recognised by the Society of Homeopaths, of which I am a full member, and the Faculty of Homeopathy, of which I am an affiliated member. I also serve as President of the Laurence Society of Holistic Medicine, a registered charity which was co-founded as The Psionic Medical Society by my late father in 1968.

Reading Group

Students and Professionals

A monthly online Homeopathy Reading Group for students and professional Homeopaths, in which seminal historic Homeopathy texts are shared and discussed in detail, notably Hahnemann’s “Organon of the Medical Art”, and Hahnemann’s “The Chronic Diseases”.

Closer study of these texts proves an invaluable aid in furthering understanding, appreciation and professional practice.

Supervision

A supportive environment in which Homeopathy can continue to thrive

Having graduated from the School of Homeopathy in June 2014, I registered with the Society of Homeopaths in November of the same year. I later went on to train in the role of supervisor as part of Sheila Ryan’s Sea Change course, which I completed February 2017.

Supervision sessions are friendly and informal, and take place either online or in my clinic in Haslemere, Surrey. They are individualised towards each of the various levels of development in Homeopathic learning and practice, whether for students or professional Homeopaths. If you feel this would be of benefit to you, do not hesitate to get in touch.

Seminar 2026

*Exclusive 3 day event with Ewald Stöteler*

EWALD STOTELER

'' Over the three days of this conference we will study the most important elements within Hahnemann’s Organon (6th Edition) and Chronic Diseases. In §71-80 Hahnemann tells us how to classify those diseases, and Ewald will stress the importance and the direct application of this classification of disease. Together we will carefully analyse illustrative cases: what to do and where to start with our treatment. How to come to choosing the right remedy(s), in which kind of order, and in which potency and frequency . Repertorisations will be made (using Radar) and displayed using a beamer. From the participants we expect an active contribution and preparation, which includes study of the Organon (6th Edition), the Chronic Diseases and preferably “Hahnemann’s Homeopathy”. Experience shows that these seminars are a very inspiring experience and offer a rich and deep meaning to be applied successfully in contemporary practice.''

UKHHF, in collaboration with the Hahnemann Homeopathy Foundation, NL presents a rare UK opportunity to learn with Ewald Stöteler, author of Hahnemann's Homeopathy.
